Last October 28, 2010 the President of the PGH Medical Foundation and Operations Manager of Generika, signed a MOA for Generika to distribute to their branches nationwide, donation cans from the PGH Medical Foundation, for the purpose of raising funds. The funds will be used for the Charity Patients Medical funds project.
*Charity patients’ medical fund – this is used to assist indigent patients for medicines, special laboratory tests and medical supplies. PGH indigent patients require 1 million a month to meet this need. We solicit from various donors for this project, but our effort always run short."
We hope that their will be more establishments like Generika who would lend a hand in helping Filipinos especially those who are less-privileged.

littte boy needs open heart surgery
A six year old boy Jan Christian Banez, came to our office and in need of an open heart surgery. the family does not have the finances to spend for an operation. We have asked around the other hospitals, and total cost would roughly be around 500,000 pesos. it was just too expensive for the family. We tried looking for people who have the heart to help, and Thank God we found one, the Tan yan kee foundation was willing to spend for the whole operation. You can just imagine the joy of the little boy, knowing he has a new lease on life. Lucky is he and bless those who have the heart to help..
