“Directors’ Cup Golf Tournament swings through...”


November 8, 2010. The Directors cup Golf tournament of the PGH Med Foundation swings through at the Orchard Golf course, Cavite. The event was for the Charity patients fund of the PGH Med Foundation.
The event started at around 8:00 am in the morning with 89 players participating. It was fun and exciting and everybody just had a good time. The game ended at around 1:00 pm
The Program and awarding of prizes started at around 2:00 pm, right after lunch at the Benitez Hall of the Orchard country club. The program was hosted by Miss Cory Quirino and co-hosted by Dr. Elesforo Gana, the event organizer. A short talk was given by the PGH Medical Foundation President. Dr. Gregorio  T. Alvior Jr. who thank everybody for the support given to the foundation, followed by the Hospital Director of the Phil. General  Hospital Dr. Rolando Enrique Domingo who thank the foundation for its support, and calling for more support for the hospital.
Everyone was so excited with the raffle prizes, like the 32inch TV, the Notebook PC, air conditioner, refrigerator and many more. Give a ways were given to those who participated and everybody had something to remember the event.
Members of the board were also there to give their support, Madam Lolita Mirpuri, Mrs. Sally Maliwanag, Dr. Elesforo Gana and Miss Cory Quirino.
We were also honored to have the ambassador of Thailand play in the event, likewise many CEO’s and consultants also joined in the tournament, all in the spirit of sportsmanship and charity.
We Hope that in the coming years we can make the event bigger and better.  We aim to give more to our less-privileged patients.  We thank every who help unselfishly to make this event a success.
